Blockchain escrow for freelance & contract work
You found the client. You agreed the terms. FlowEscrow Work holds the payment in a smart contract and releases it milestone by milestone — no marketplace cut, no chargebacks, no waiting on bank wires.
For both sides of the deal
Most payment tools protect one side. FlowEscrow Work aligns the incentives of both.
How it works
No wallet knowledge or blockchain experience required. Just connect your Alephium wallet.
Connect your Alephium wallet. Your address becomes your identity on-chain — no sign-up, no profile to fill in.
Agree the amount and milestones, choose a stablecoin (USDT or USDC). The client locks the full budget into the smart contract before work begins.
At each milestone, the worker submits the deliverable. The client reviews and approves — payment releases on-chain instantly.
Once the final deliverable is approved, the remaining balance reaches the worker. If the client doesn't respond within the review window, the contract releases automatically.

Security & Trust
No platform holding your funds, no intermediary, no opaque rulings. Code executes the moment conditions are met — this is trustless.
Once deployed, no one can modify the escrow contract — not FlowEscrow Work, not the operator, not any platform. Funds move only when the coded conditions are met. The code is open source and verifiable by anyone.
Not volatile crypto. Choose from USDT or USDC — pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, bridged from Ethereum via Wormhole and verified on Alephium. Your payment amount will not fluctuate with exchange rates.
Traditional escrow services and platforms have staff decide whether the work is acceptable. FlowEscrow Work lets the client verify directly — the worker submits the deliverable, the client reviews it, and approves on-chain. No middleman, no delays, no opaque platform rulings.
Alephium runs on Proof of Work — the same security model as Bitcoin. Attackers must consume real energy to rewrite the chain. BlockFlow sharding achieves 10,000+ TPS while the Alphred VM eliminates flash loan and reentrancy attacks by design.
All contract addresses and transactions are publicly verifiable on the Block Explorer in real time.
Comparison
Not just cost and speed. The underlying structure is fundamentally different.
Based on a typical 10% marketplace service fee on a $2,000 project. Platform fees commonly range from 5% to 20%.
Before you start
FlowEscrow Work runs entirely in your browser. No extra software beyond the wallet. Set up once and never again.
Add the Alephium browser extension to Chrome. This is the only software to install. It takes about 3 minutes, and you only do it once.
Get the wallet extension →Buy USDT or USDC on any major exchange (Gate.io, Binance, MEXC), then use the Alephium bridge to move them to your wallet. Keep a little ALPH too — it covers network gas (about $0.05 per action).
Open the bridge →Agree the amount and milestones, send the proposal, and lock the budget. Done. Every deal after this takes under 2 minutes.
Go to dashboard →FAQ
No crypto knowledge required. Connect your Alephium wallet — the extension takes under a minute to install. Your wallet address is your identity on-chain.

The worker submits each milestone via the dashboard and can attach the deliverable (files, links, notes). The client reviews and approves on-chain. If the client does not respond within the approval period, funds auto-release to the worker.
If the global timeout (default 180 days) passes without the work being approved, funds are automatically returned to the client. Within the review window after delivery, the client can raise a dispute.
By default, the client pays (deducted from the stablecoin at escrow creation). You can configure it as worker-paid or split 50/50. No hidden fees beyond 1.0%.
Yes. Choose from 5 templates — Custom (fully flexible, 1 to 5 milestones), Full payment on delivery (100%), Deposit + on delivery (30/70), Kickoff + Midpoint + Final (30/30/40), or Pay after acceptance. Conditions cannot be changed once deployed.
Contracts are written in Ralph, which structurally prevents reentrancy attacks, flash loan exploits, and unlimited approvals. The code is open source on GitHub.
Yes. The dashboard, documentation, and support are available in English, Japanese, and Chinese.
